THE Tories appear in confident mood, Labour less so.

Labour seem to be bracing themselves for a few losses. However, the Conservatives are keeping an anxious eye on Scarisbrick and Bickerstaffe.

Will it be a tit-for-tat election result?

Still no news on results, but more wards are now reaching advanced stages, including the safest Labour seat in West Lancs, Skelmersdale South.
